01

The basics

What it is, common misconceptions

What are brand visuals? Is it just a logo?
Brand visuals are much more than a logo: they are every image a customer sees of your business.
That includes your brand identity (logo, wordmark, brand colors, font rules), photos and video, social media templates, website and ad creatives, plus offline touchpoints like signage, packaging and in-store displays. The goal is for all of them to tell the same brand story.
AI can make images now. Why do I still need real photos?
Because AI is good for volume, while real photos build trust.
AI is efficient for background removal, simple product images, resizing and first-draft layouts. Brand imagery, the founder and team, products shown on models, events and displays need real photos, or customers won't believe them.
Each AI image looks great on its own. Why does my brand look blurry when I put them together?
Because every prompt and tool produces different colors and lighting.
Each image looks nice alone, but together they have no consistent personality, and customers can't recognize you. When every brand can generate a pretty image in seconds, pretty is no longer an advantage. Being believable is.
Can I use AI to generate all my model, apparel or accessory photos?
I don't recommend using AI for all of them.
Fabric drape, sense of size, hands and accessory details still tend to look off in AI images. When what customers receive doesn't match what they saw, you get returns and complaints. For images that help customers judge how something will look when worn, real photography is the safer choice.
How do I keep my brand visuals from looking AI-generated?
Set the rules first, then create the images, and use real people and real places.
  • Decide colors, fonts, lighting and composition up front
  • Photograph the founder, staff, store and factory: competitors can't copy these
  • Keep details like fabric texture, hand movements and natural on-site light
  • Have the same team document your brand over time so the style builds up
  • Lead with the story: images are the evidence for your brand story

Benefits

Impact on revenue, costs and your team

How do consistent brand visuals actually help my business?
Most directly, customers recognize you at a glance and are more willing to trust you.
Consistent visuals let brand recognition build up instead of changing style every time a new social media assistant takes over. I don't promise that it guarantees sales, but it stops your ads, social media and website from sending mixed messages, and it cuts the cost of starting from scratch each time.
Why does it matter so much that online and offline visuals match?
Because customers bring the expectations they formed online into your store, your packaging and your events.
If everything looks polished online but different in person, their expectations fall flat. When online and offline match, customers experience the same brand from the first time they see you to the moment they walk in.
How does having brand guidelines help my team?
Your team has a clear reference for graphics, posts and flyers, so they don't need the owner's gut feeling every time.
Guidelines spell out how to use colors, fonts and photo style, so the look holds up when someone new takes over, and you spend less staff time on endless revisions.
Why do real photos make customers trust a brand more?
Because customers now ask, "Is this real?"
Your founder and team, your factory process, your store and your events are real-world proof. These images back up your brand story so it's more than a nice line.

Is it right for me?

When to do it, what to prepare

I already have a logo. Do I still need brand visuals?
You don't necessarily need to redo your logo.
What most brands are missing is guidelines: how to use colors, fonts and photo style consistently. If you already have a logo but your photos and social media look messy, the Brand Image Tune-Up plan is usually a good place to start.
How do I know it's time to fix my brand visuals?
If any of the following sounds familiar, it's worth a review.
  • You've made lots of graphics, yet your brand feels less and less clear
  • Your logo, colors and fonts were made at different times by different vendors
  • Your brand story says "craftsmanship" but your images look like "fast fashion"
  • Your social media style changes every time a new assistant takes over
  • Online and in your store or packaging, you look like two different brands
How do I choose between the three plans?
Choose based on where your brand is right now.
  • Brand Image Tune-Up: you have a logo, but your photos and social media style are inconsistent
  • Visual System Build: you want online and offline to look like one brand, and you sell products shown on models or run a store
  • Full Brand Visual Package: a rebrand, a second-generation handover, a traditional business in transition, or preparing to sell across borders
If you're not sure, start with a 1-hour consultation and I'll recommend a plan based on your situation.
Taking over a family business or modernizing a traditional business: where should brand visuals start?
Usually with redefining your brand story and visual direction, not with a photo shoot.
During a handover or transition, the old logo and images often don't fit the new direction. This kind of project suits the Full Brand Visual Package, which plans everything together: direction, logo redesign or rebrand, guidelines book and offline applications.
What do I need to prepare before starting brand visuals?
Just bring your current logo, photos and social media.
During the consultation, we look at your existing visuals and brand story together, find what's missing, and then recommend the right services and budget.

How it works

Steps and deliverables

What is the process for a brand visuals project?
The project runs in five stages.
  • Consultation: review your current visuals and brand story
  • Direction: colors, fonts and photo style, presented as a mood board
  • Design: logo and guidelines, social media post templates
  • Photo shoot: handled by a professional photography team
  • Delivery and review: guidelines book, retouched photos, template files
Does Nicole do the photo shoot herself?
No, shoots are handled by a professional photography team I've worked with for years.
I handle the visual strategy and direction up front, then brief the team clearly on your brand story, style and shoot requirements. That way every shoot follows a plan instead of being improvised on the day.
What will I receive at the end of the project?
Depending on the plan, you get both guidelines and ready-to-use assets.
For example, a brand guidelines book, retouched photos, social media post templates and template files. More complete plans also include designs for website/e-commerce key visuals, business cards, flyers, packaging, signage and more. See the plan comparison table for full details of each plan.
What does the owner need to do during the project?
Mainly share your current materials, take part in confirming the direction, and help arrange the shoot.
You need to confirm the brand story and direction with us, because the images are evidence for that story. For the shoot, you confirm the people, location and products (models and locations can also be arranged at extra cost). The team handles everything else, so you don't have to coordinate multiple vendors yourself.
Can I book just a photo shoot without design?
Yes. Shoots are booked by the half day: commercial shoots from NT$15,000, event shoots from NT$6,000.
Still, I suggest starting with a 1-hour consultation. Without a clear direction, even beautiful photos rarely add up to a brand.

Pricing & terms

Prices, billing, what's included

How much do the three brand visuals plans cost?
Here are the price ranges for the three plans.
  • Brand Image Tune-Up: NT$38,000–48,000
  • Visual System Build: NT$150,000–200,000
  • Full Brand Visual Package: NT$380,000–580,000
The exact scope and quote are confirmed after the consultation, based on your brand's situation.
Are models, hair and makeup, locations or out-of-town shoots included in the plans?
No. Models, hair and makeup, and locations are charged separately as needed, and out-of-town shoots add travel costs.
These are quoted together after the consultation, based on what you're shooting and where.
How does photo usage licensing work?
Photos are licensed for your brand's own online and offline use.
Use in large-scale advertising or billboards, or extended use of a model's likeness, is quoted separately.
Can I order logo design, CIS or business cards on their own?
Yes. Logo, CIS corporate identity, business cards, packaging and other design work can all be planned to fit your needs.
Other photography and design services are quoted as needed. We suggest a consultation first to confirm the scope.
Do you also make long-form videos? How is it priced?
Yes, long-form video comes as an annual plan, from NT$420,000/year.
It covers 24 videos a year, each about 15–20 minutes, plus highlight clips, including planning, filming and editing. Hair and makeup and studio rental are not included.
06

Timeline

When it starts, when you'll see changes

How long does each brand visuals plan take?
It depends on the size of the plan.
  • Brand Image Tune-Up: about 3 weeks
  • Visual System Build: about 6–8 weeks
  • Full Brand Visual Package: about 3 months
The actual timeline depends on shoot scheduling and how quickly items are approved.
When can we get started?
It starts with booking a 1-hour consultation.
After the consultation, we confirm the plan, scope and quote, then schedule the direction work and the shoot. The actual start date depends on both sides' availability. You can ask first through our LINE Official Account.
How long does the photo shoot take?
It depends on the plan: Brand Image Tune-Up includes a half-day shoot, Visual System Build a full-day shoot, and Full Brand Visual Package a two-day shoot plus coverage of one event.
Standalone shoots are priced by the half day.

For existing clients

What happens once we are working together

After delivery, will you check that we're using the visuals correctly?
Yes, depending on the plan.
Visual System Build includes 1 review after delivery; Full Brand Visual Package includes 1 review per month for three months. The Brand Image Tune-Up plan does not include a post-delivery review, but we can discuss adding one if you need it.
After finishing a plan, can I add more shoots or design work?
Yes, additional photography or design work is quoted as needed.
Once your brand has a direction and guidelines, any add-ons follow the same standards, so your style keeps building instead of starting over each time.
If I start with the Brand Image Tune-Up, can I upgrade to a fuller plan later?
Yes. Many brands start by cleaning up their existing visuals and then build a complete system step by step.
The upgrade scope and cost depend on what you've already completed and what you need next. You can discuss it with me through our LINE Official Account.

How it connects to other services

How the services affect each other

How do brand visuals fit with your other marketing services?
Brand visuals are what make people believe you.
SEO and GEO help the right people find you, brand visuals help them recognize and trust you at a glance, short videos help them remember you, your sales process catches them, and CRM brings them back. Marketing strategy ties the whole journey together.
Should I start with brand visuals or short videos?
If your visual style is still all over the place, I recommend setting your visual direction first.
Short-video covers, caption styles and overall color tone all need a reference. With guidelines in place, your content adds up to one recognizable brand. The right order still depends on what you're missing most right now.
Do brand visuals affect my website, SEO or GEO?
Yes. Your website and Google Business Profile are the first things customers see after they find you in search.
Once they've found you, whether your visuals feel trustworthy affects whether they reach out next. That's why brand visuals also cover your website, landing pages and Google Business Profile photos.
Should brand visuals and marketing strategy be done together?
They don't have to happen at the same time, but your visuals should be built on a clear strategy.
Once it's clear who you sell to and why they should choose you, the images know what story to tell. If you're still unsure of your direction, start with a strategy session or a consultation, then decide the order.

Our team & why us

Who does the work, how we are different

What's the difference between hiring my own photographer and designer and working with you?
The biggest difference is that someone sets the direction and checks the quality, and you have a single point of contact.
When you hire vendors yourself, the owner often has to figure out the brief and relay the brand story, photographers and designers work separately, and online and offline easily end up looking like two brands. We start with a consultation, set the direction first, and execute with one set of guidelines.
Who is in charge of brand visuals? What is Nicole's role?
I handle the visual strategy: reviewing what you have, setting the direction, and making sure the images match your brand story.
Photography, video and design are carried out by a professional team I've worked with for years. I brief the team clearly on your brand's needs and, depending on the plan, review the results after delivery.
Why have a marketing strategy consultant oversee brand visuals?
I have 18 years of experience in e-commerce marketing and 12 years as a serial entrepreneur, on both the brand side and the service side.
I understand what owners are thinking and where the execution side gets stuck. So when I look at visuals, I don't just ask whether they look good. I ask whether they tell your brand story clearly and support your business.
